If you haven’t had the pleasure of hearing this track yet, I won’t spoil it for you with a bunch of background. I will just say, as I’m sure most others would agree, Kendrick Lamar‘s verse on this joint may have started a revolution in today’s hip hop world. It could be a new time where some MCs finally decide to take their craft seriously as K-Dot called out quite a few of them in his verse. Lastly, I will say that his verse hands down was the best on the track and may be the best verse of 2013! Yes….it’s just that good. Check it out and if you’re feeling it let us know what you think. Thanks for checking out 3GW.
After some brainstorming for an upcoming mix I plan to put out, I came across this song that I think most people should have the pleasure of knowing about. So(ul) Amazin’ is definitly something that I would never have heard had someone not told me about it. Yet, after hearing it I was amazed and became a regular listener of the album that this track is featured on. I could ramble on about the great, poetic lyricism from the MC Blu or speak about the entrancing production that Exile laid down for the track, but I’d rather let you just hear it instead. You can find this and other dope (non-commercial) hip hop from the duo on the album entitled Below The Heavens. Happy listening.
