Since I’m stuck at work and forced to be here the entire Father’s Day, I decided to post 2 hip-hop tracks that have their own takes on what fatherhood is like. They sound different in comparison to one another, but I still think they are fitting for today and for this post. I won’t go into great detail about each of them. Just know that one comes from hip hop guru Nas and features his father Olu Dara. The other from Big K.R.I.T. who decides to pay homage to his father in his track. Both poetic and timeless in their own way, and each can give you a reason to enjoy Father’s Day with your own or that special father-like figure. Enjoy and thanks for supporting 3GW.
