John Legend – All of Me

During the season 9 finale of Grey’s Anatomy, I was pleasantly surprised to hear a new song by John Legend entitled All of Me.  Since that time I’ve been patiently waiting for the single to be released to avail so I decided to post a live version of the song instead.  Written about his fiancé, Chrissy Teigen, John Legend expresses why exactly he loves her.  According to Chrissy, “The first line of it is ‘What would I do without your smart mouth,’ so if that’s not about me I don’t know what is.”

During a recent interview about his upcoming album with Billboard, Love in the Future, John Legend was asked whether this album contained another hit along the lines of 2005’s R&B top five Ordinary People, and he cited All of Me.  He teased, “I don’t want to predict how big it will get but it’s in the same league.”  John’s fourth solo album, Love in the Future, is set to release on June 25th.
